Project Overview
JTK Engineer provided mechanical engineering for the new yacht manufacturing and office building. The manufacturing portion of the building is comprised of three main areas:
- Gel Coat
- Lamination/Grind
- Finish/Assembly
Specialty systems in the building include:
- NESHAP Filtration and Exhaust
- Dust Collection
- 100% Outside Air Capable Rooftop Air Handlers
- Design to reduce outside air and operate in return air mode during times when production is not taking place to conserve energy.
- Chemical Storage Exhaust
The office portion of the building is served by a hig- efficiency energy recovery outside air unit operating at over 83% sensible recovery. The heating and cooling for the office portions of the building are provided by variable refrigerant heat pumps.
