Project Overview
Prior to joining JTK Engineering, our now lead JTK engineer provided HVAC design for the JTK/Nordic Temperature Control owner for several aircraft hangars at the Port of Skagit Airport.
Most of the hangars are served by suspended radiant tub heaters, minimum outside air ventilation fans and HVLS ceiling fans. The Welch Hangar was unique in having a radiant floor hot water heating system provided by a high efficiency condensing boiler to serve the hangar bays. The Welch Hangar also had a single-story office served by a high efficiency variable refrigerant flow heat pump system and high efficiency energy recovery dedicated outdoor air unit.
